Laboratory Plastic

Plastic laboratory glassware - glassware made of polymeric materials: polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), transparent polystyrene (PS) and other polymers, which have the necessary properties for use in the laboratory environment. Advantages of laboratory glassware made of plastic are obvious: Products from it are lightweight, durable, unbreakable, last longer, not inferior in their chemical properties to traditional glassware, resistant to acids, alkalis and other aggressive substances. In addition, it washes and dries quickly and is absolutely safe to work with in comparison with glass laboratory tableware.

Most laboratory glassware is made of polypropylene. Max temperature for polypropylene is 135 °С, specific weight - 0,90 g/cm3, color - translucent. Steam sterilization at (at 121°C for 20 min.), gas (ethylene oxide), or chemical compounds (formalin, ethanol). Polypropylene is a light (0.9 g/cm3) and strong (design strength at 23°C - 7MPa) polymer, which belongs to the thermoplastic category. Polypropylene laboratory glassware has a high chemical resistance to strong concentrated acids and bases, aliphatic alcohols, aldehydes and a limited chemical resistance to haloid-substituted hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, when reacted with them for 7-30 days.

Another indisputable advantage of laboratory plastic is its lower weight compared to glassware, as well as the ability to pack it more compactly than glassware. Laboratory glassware made of plastic is easy to transport. Many chemical reagents, such as alkalis, require storage only in plastic utensils. The use of disposable plastic laboratory ware is especially important for the compliance with sterility and sanitary-hygienic requirements, reducing the risk of contamination when working with especially dangerous infections.

Petri dishes, plastic beakers, beakers, cylinders, funnels, washers, pipette tubs, slide holders, transportable Pasteur pipettes, test tubes, cuvettes, blood sampling systems, pipettes and tips, tripods, immunological plates etc. are convenient to use. Due to its high performance characteristics plastic laboratory glassware is widely used in various industries.

Polypropylene laboratory funnels (various diameters), which are used for filtration and overflow of liquids

Tubs for multichannel pipettes.

Dispenser (dispenser) for slides is a neat compact device which looks aesthetically acceptable and does not occupy much space on your table. Such a device not only facilitates the work of specialist, but also protects the glass from damage, often pulling glasses from deep reservoirs such as jars and boxes for storage, they are scratched and break off.

Dispenser nozzle for all types of pipettes 0.1-100 ml is used in various laboratories for dispensing liquids.

Containers are plastic for storing and transporting slides, they are used to protect specimens from dust and other foreign bodies. Each compartment is numbered and can hold a varying number of 12, 25, 50 or 100 slides.

Plastic cuvettes for spectrophotometry 10х10х45mm are used for measuring the optical density of solutions in the range of 190-2500nm.

Polypropylene beaker is intended for pouring, sedimentation and approximate measuring of liquids volume by the help of marks on the side surface.

Eppendorf-type microtubes. These include 0.2; 0.5; 1.5 and 2 ml tubes. The microtube has a cast cork with a special lock for a tighter closure. The tubes are also equipped with graduations and a surface for writing notes.

Tubes of different volume, made of polypropylene or polystyrene, conical, cylindrical, with lid.

Universal tips are designed to work with single-channel and multi-channel pipettes. They come in different volumes from 10 µl to 10 ml.

Transport pipette (Pasteur) - a feature of these pipettes is a closed reservoir for filling, so they do not require special devices for taking liquids. This ensures the safety of this pipette and helps avoid contamination of dispensing devices and personnel.

Immunological 96-well plate is designed for immunoassays in clinical diagnostic laboratories of medical institutions. Wells have "U"-shape.

Serological U-form 72x2 ml plate is designed for immunoassays with agglutination or precipitation. It consists of 72 round bottom wells.

Washers are bottles with screw cap made of soft PE, in which a plastic cannula is integrated, allowing to obtain a thin and, if necessary, sharp stream of liquid which fills the wash bottle. These products are used to wash pH electrodes and other analyzer parts, to wash cells (erythrocytes, leukocytes, etc.), to pour dyes on glass when staining smears and for many other purposes. The lids of the washers close hermetically.

The Petri dish will greatly simplify bacteriological analyses because it comes in sterile packaging.

Tip racks, tube and microtube racks, and pipette racks help you make optimal use of your workspace and create a comfortable work environment.
