Laboratory scales

When selecting a laboratory scale, you should consider:

  1. The LEL of the scales (the largest weighing limit).
  2. Discreteness of scales (division value or number of decimal places). The analytical scales discrecity is 0,1 mg. Discreteness and accuracy are not the same thing.
  3. the LMP (the lowest weighing limit).
  4. Calibration mechanism - internal or external.
  5. Operating conditions.
