When preparing the concrete mixture, special attention is paid to such a parameter as air draft into the concrete. The porosity of the concrete mixture is evaluated by such indicators as the volume of air or gas contained in the compacted concrete mixture and the volume of intergranular cavities.

The device is designed to measure the volume of entrained air in the compacted concrete mixture. Maybe calibrated.

Consists of a 7 liter sample vessel with an air pump on it, a pressure gauge and a cover assembly with water valves. Stripping knife and pry bar included.

The use of such a device allows you to optimally use air-expanding and antifreeze additives, as well as control the specific gravity and frost resistance of solutions.
