Separate temperature probe from the pH electrode to provide improved temperature compensation and measurement of liquid temperature independent of the electrode. This is especially important when measuring acidity in very hot or cold solutions. Because the working range of the pH electrode is from 0 to 50 °C and you could accidentally damage it by placing it in extreme conditions. The presence of a high-temperature probe neutralizes such accidents - first the temperature of the solution is measured, and then the decision is made whether or not to immerse the pH electrode in it.
