PAL-RI Manual Digital Refractometer. Press START after placing a few drops of sample on the prism, the refractive index nD (resolution 0.0001) and measuring temperature °C will appear on the display. It also has all the functions of the refractometers of the PAL series. The PAL-RI refractometer is widely used to evaluate the quality of sunflower oil, which is used to treat ailments according to the N.V. Shevchenko method. The PAL-BX/RI has two scales: the Brix (Brix measurement range: 0.0 to 93.0%, Brix accuracy: ±0.1%) and the refractive index RI scale (resolution: 0.0001). The refractive index value and measurement temperature will scroll continuously on the screen. Due to its extremely wide range, the PAL-BX/RI is suitable for measuring almost any sample.

Attention: The automatic temperature compensation (ATC) function only works for the Brix scale. To measure the refractive index nD, the sample temperature must be adjusted to 20°C or manually recalculated depending on the sample type and its characteristics.
