Description

The automatic hematology analyzer -5500 5-Part-Diff performs a large volume of quantitative and qualitative blood tests. Automatically and accurately measures the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood.

The tests are performed according to the following parameters: WBC, LYM%, MON%, NEU%, EOS%, BAS%, LYM#, MON#, NEU#, EOS#, BAS#, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW_CV, RDW_SD, PLT, MPV, PDW, PCT, P_LCR, RETIC%, RETIC_ABS, IRF, ALY%, LIC%, NRDC%, ALY#, LIC#, NRBC#.

The following methods of analysis are used during measurements:

1. Electrical impedance method to determine the number and distribution of erythrocytes and platelets;

2. optical laser diffraction method for differentiating leukocytes into 5 subpopulations;

3. Colorimetric method to determine the amount of hemoglobin.
