The BeadBlaster 24 fully lyses, grinds and homogenizes
a wide range of biological samples. Even the most complex and
resistant samples are completely homogenized in 35 seconds or
less.
The stainless steel tubular carrier subjects up to 24 samples to an optimized, high-speed 3D motion, creating high-energy impacts between samples and microbeads to release cellular content.
After homogenization, samples can be centrifuged and the supernatant collected for further processing.
The operating parameters for the BeadBlaster 24 are set and displayed digitally.
digital display. To protect fragile, heat-sensitive samples, the unit can be programmed to run in shortened sequential cycles with a rest period in between. Up to 50 such programs can be stored
and recalled for future use. The transparent lid allows visualization
samples and has a mechanical lid lock which prevents the lid from being opened
of the lid during BeadBlaster operation. The brushless motor reduces motor noise and ensures smooth operation.
Benchmark offers a range of pre-filled tube kits for a variety of sample types. Popular Triple-Pure kits include acid wash, heat treatment, and zirconia beads. The beads are tested to be nuclease-free, making them ideal for molecular biology applications.
A convenient starter kit (D1032-SK) is available to accommodate
a wide range of sample types and optimize applications.
