Description
Portable
Designed for pelleted feed
Fast and easy to use
Adjustable test time
Small particles are removed during analysis
The tester measures the strength of animal feed pellets.
This is a test method recognized worldwide.
"Getting results up to 4 times faster than when using drum type testers"
This is an entry-level pellet friability tester that is used to calculate the pellet friability index (PII) by simulating pellet transport conditions from producer to consumer.
It is easy to transport from place to place for local inspections.
It only needs to be placed on a flat and stable surface.
Pellets are loaded into a perforated mesh hopper
From the bottom of the bunker under a pressure of 70 mbar. a stream of air is supplied, which lifts the granules up
The pellets collide with each other and with the walls of the hopper
Fine particles are filtered through a hopper into a chamber below where they can be removed.
The NHP 100 with its standard 2.5 mm diameter perforated hopper is ideal for testing pellets with a diameter of 3-12 mm. Optionally available hoppers with hole diameters from 1.25 to 4 mm.
Set the test time to 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds according to the pellet size range.
Before loading the sample into the hopper, the operator must sift and weigh the sample.
After the test cycle, the sample must be reweighed. After that, the operator can
calculate the indicator "Index of fragility of granules" (ICG).
Fine particles and dust are removed during the testing process to produce reliable and accurate readings
The results.
