OPn-8 centrifuge is a portable medical laboratory batch-type centrifuge with the rotation speed up to 8000 rpm. It is designed for dividing heterogeneous liquid systems into fractions in density of up to 2 g/cm3 under the action of centrifugal forces. It is intended for application in clinical laboratory diagnostics and carrying out researches in medicine, biology, chemistry and other fields.

The centrifuge allows setting the rotor speed in steps from 1000 to 8000 rpm, every 1000 rpm. With a timing mechanism, operating time can be adjusted from 0 to 60 minutes at intervals of multiples of 5 minutes. The time of acceleration of the rotor to the maximum working speed is not more than 8 minutes.

The centrifuge has a safety system that provides:

locking the rotor rotation on when the lid is open;

Blocking of the lid opening until the rotor stops completely.

Table-top centrifuge OPn-3.02 is used in clinical laboratory diagnostics and carrying out researches in medicine, biology, chemistry and other fields.

Centrifuge provides setting the rotational speed of test tube holder in steps of 1000, 1500, 3000 rpm with LED indication of set rotational speed step. Time of reaching steady state and deceleration time does not exceed 3 min.

A distinctive feature of OPn-3.02 laboratory centrifuge is durability of use. The body is made of metal and covered with polymer paint resistant to acids and solvents. The top part of the OPn-3.02 centrifuge lid is equipped with a transparent glass envelope made of thick-walled shockproof glass. Centrifuge provides setting the rotational speed of test tube holder in steps of 1000, 1500, 3000 rpm with light indication of the speed being set.

Maximal allowed deviation of the preset speed is ±150 rpm at the speed of 1000 and 1500 rpm, and minus 400 rpm at the speed of 3000 rpm.

The centrifuge has a safety system that provides:

blocking the rotation of the test tube holder when the lid is open;

locking the lid opening until the test tube holder stops completely.

Rotor speed (from 500 to 2700 rpm with 100 rpm increment) and running time (from 0 to 99 min with 1 min increment) are set on the electronic control panel.

During operation the electronic display shows the actual rotational speed and centrifugation time. It is possible to change centrifugation time and speed during centrifuge operation. The time of setting the operating mode and deceleration time is not more than 3 minutes.

As the tubes rotate, they move to the horizontal position, allowing for a clear horizontal separation, which is convenient for further liquid fraction sampling.

The centrifuge is equipped with a 10-seat test tube holder.
