Pipette vacuum controller for pipettes 0,1-100 ml

Tubes

Description

The pipetator controller is especially required for work with glass and plastic pipettes for precise control of dispensed volumes of liquids. In principle, it can be called a filler or a vacuum pump for pipettes.

Filling and emptying in the pipette pump is done by an adjustable vacuum. The controller is used with all types of glass or plastic pipettes, volume 0.1-100 ml. Working with the controller significantly simplifies the work of the laboratory assistant, reduces the risk of contamination by dangerous infections and saves time. Silicone adapter hermetically connects the device with pipettes of any diameter.

By gently squeezing the silicone pearl of the pipette and moving the lever with your finger, you can visually check the fluid being dispensed or dumped. If necessary, the remaining volume of liquid can be discarded. The vacuum controller is a simple and reliable tool for your laboratory. Easy to disassemble for cleaning and sterilization.

Procedure:

1.Squeeze the controller fur, creating a vacuum, before starting.

2.Insert the pipette into the silicone adapter at the bottom of the unit.

3.Place the bottom end of the pipetator into the liquid, to fill the pipette. Press the controller button up and fill the liquid, up to the upper pipette mark. At work with pipettes of considerable volume (100ml and more), it can be necessary to press repeatedly on fur, for full filling of a pipette.

4.To dispense liquid, slowly press the controller button down. This pushes the liquid (dispensing) out of the pipette. Use the pipette graduation, to control the amount of dispensed liquid. The intensity of the liquid ejection is proportional to pressing the controller button down. When working for a long time, squeeze the controller's fur again, without disconnecting the pipette.

5.At the end of work, drain the liquid from the pipette by pressing the button to drain the liquid. Disconnect the pipette from the controller by slowly twisting the pipette around its axis with a slight downward force.
