This is the first "mini" size centrifuge with a tilting

rotor for microtubes. Centrifuge PCR tubes ensure that all reagents are at the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and increased yields.

Despite its remarkably small footprint (9×10 inches), the centrifuge includes a uniquely designed hinged rotor capable of providing

2 microtubes. The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate

holders that are at a 75° angle. This allows tubes to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. When the centrifuge lid is closed, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force "swings" the tubes to the horizontal

position. Any droplets on the walls are quickly concentrated at the

bottom of the well.

At a g-force of 600 xg, most samples can be spun in less than 20 seconds.

To finish, simply open the lid and the automatic electric brake brings the rotor to a quick and smooth stop in just 4 seconds. The tubes can then be easily removed from the rotor.
