Pocket penetrometer for concrete mixtures

It is used to determine the setting time of fresh concrete in the field or in the laboratory.

The plunger (area 1/20 in2 - 32 mm2) is immersed in the solution to a depth of 25.4 mm and the resistance (kPa or lbf/in²) is read directly on the scale.
