*Loudness depends on the set beep. Comes with a 6mm horn with a volume of 10 - 100 ml.

The Pulse 150 ultrasonic homogenizer uses cavitation and ultrasonic waves to disrupt cells in suspension, shear DNA, and prepare samples for ChIP assays. At up to 150 W, the unit processes samples from 0.1 mL to 150 mL (with the appropriate mouthpiece).

All components required for homogenization are included with the Pulse 150 - controller, transducer, temperature sensor, 6 mm diameter titanium alloy horn and wrenches for changing horns. A sound isolation box with sample platform also comes standard. The box reduces the noise generated by the ultrasound machine. The 6 mm horn is suitable for volumes from 10 ml to 100 ml. Additional horns are available for other volumes.

Operating parameters are set and viewed on the 4.3" color touch screen. Pulse operation is easily programmable, as is the power level. Twenty programs can be stored in memory and recalled as needed. Alarms alert the user to overheating, overload/no load, and expiration of time.
