Schmidt hammer HSH (sclerometer)
Description
Designed for non-destructive testing of the strength of concrete, mortar, stone, asphalt, brickwork.
The method consists in measuring the rebound height of the striker, which falls on the examined surface with a certain energy. According to the graduation curves the rebound height is translated into strength in MPa.
There are several modifications of the device, which differ from each other by the impact energy and, accordingly, by the area of application.
