They are necessary for the process of metabolism, as activators and co-enzymes of many enzymes. 70 chemical elements are found in the human body, of which 47 chemical elements are permanent and are called biogenic. Depending on the amount of content of biogenic chemical elements, they are divided into macro-, micro- and ultra-microelements. Macroelements include elements with a concentration in the body of more than 0.001% (Na, K, Ca. P, СL, S).
Water-mineral exchange ensures the constancy of the ionic composition, acid-base balance, volume of fluids in the body's internal environment, osmotic pressure, that is, the main parameters of homeostasis.
