Description
Set of reagents for determination of hemoglobin concentration by hemiglobin cyanide method.
Principle of the method: Hemoglobin reacts with potassium ferricyanide and is oxidized to methemoglobin, which forms with acetone cyanide a colored hemiglobicyanide, the color intensity of which is proportional to the hemoglobin content in blood.
Number of determinations: 400 (5 ml working solution/0.02 ml sample)
Volume of working solution: 2000 ml (1000 ml + 1000 ml)
Composition of the kit:
Oxidizing reagent (dry mix of reagents) - 1.2 g (2 ampoules)
Acetone cyanohydrin - 0.5 ml (2 ampoules).
Hemiglobin cyanide calibration solution - 5 ml (concentration 597.5 mg/L, which corresponds to a hemoglobin concentration of 150 g/L at a dilution of 251 times).
